When did you start designing, and how did you turn it in to your profession?
I’m a 24 year old graphic designer currently based in Hong Kong after moving from Toronto, Canada about two years ago. I studied and graduated in 2008 from Graphic Design majoring in Advertising at Toronto’s George Brown College. I’ve always had an interest in art and design, and when I was little, I knew I would have my career base around it. I first got into digital illustration when I was in high school. All the old school PCs had all these Adobe design software installed, and I would spends hours and hours playing and experimenting around Photoshop and Illustrator. I just kind of got addicted to it ever since.

Where do you get your inspiration from?
I guess most of my inspiration comes from everyday events in general, from books, internet, web, dreams, etc., as cliche as that sounds, haha

How do you create your illustrations, and what tools do you use?
Most of the time I’ll have a basic composition in my head. Then I’ll have Photoshop open, gather stock images and just start editing. I’ll import illustrations and shapes draw in Illustrator. Everything then gets composed, tuned and refined in Photoshop.
